What is Hope Help & LIFE?
Dear Pro Life Friends,
We wanted to share with you that we are among the many who are pro life and pray daily for the end of abortion. While praying on the morning of July 1, 2009, in front of the “Women’s Health Center” abortion clinic, near the corner of 8th Street & Derbyshire in Daytona Beach, FL, Barbara and another prayer person, Frank Parisi, heard the call of God. Frank shared with Barbara that he has prayed many times to God to make a building become available right here across the street from the abortion clinic. They discussed that this free-standing, old pharmacy building has been vacant for some time now and he said God is probably asking, “Why haven’t you inquired about this building’s availability?!” They immediately inquired about the owner/landlord and were able to meet with him within the hour.
This building would be a prime choice as it is located directly across the street from the “Women’s Health Center” abortion clinic. It is approximately 4,000 square feet. We are trusting God to make it happen. Remember, we do have a BIG GOD! I am praying for an anonymous donor to buy it outright for the ministry. Will you pray with us?
This location is easily accessible to anyone who is planning to abort their baby but would like HELP to make a LIFE choice instead. They will be able to walk across the street to hear about their LIFE options and receive HELP if they choose to continue with their pregnancy. This building could contain not only a pregnancy care center with a waiting/counseling rooms, and free pregnancy testing/sonograms, but also Parenting Classes, Post Abortion Recovery, Budgeting, Birth and Breastfeeding support, Prayer, etc.
The LORD can orchestrate more ministry than we can imagine if we will be available and obedient to Him. Having a Pro Life facility available across the street from the abortion clinic would help this community by offering practical HOPE and HELP. A large impact can be made by offering free pregnancy testing and free sonograms. The abortion clinic charges $100 for a sonogram. Sonograms have been proven to reduce the number of abortions by up to 90% because the woman can see her baby alive on the screen. We will be able to show her how we can HELP her with the basic provisions via maternity & baby clothes, diapers, parenting classes and help for additional assistance as necessary. We can be a resource center to direct her to getting proper prenatal care and adoption information if she so chooses. We will offer them HOPE and HELP and they will offer LIFE to their baby.
We can offer prayer and have the ability to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. We can make available information on local area churches where they can become actively involved worshiping and serving our God.
